For a routine clean-up or triage of my inbox

I'm bored or open the app without thinking

To see if there's anything new and important

To get specific information (confirmation number, PDF, etc.)

I triage every email and manage my inbox using inbox zero, labels etc.

I scan every email to find what's important but rarely archive or manage my inbox

I scan emails in the 'Primary' or 'Focus' section but ignore or miss everything else

I see what I see, which means I miss a lot of emails, even some important ones

It feels good to have a sense of control and organization

It's not too much effort and I don't want to miss anything

It's a habit that I don't really think about it

It's a necessary evil, I'd prefer to spend less time managing my email

Everything important is stored in my email

I use it for notifications from Google Docs, Instagram, etc.

It's how I get job offers or introduced to new people

I need it for appointments, finances and other life admin

It's how I contact businesses and customer service

It's how I access flight info, concert tickets, confirmation numbers, etc.

It's how I contact certain people in my life
